Since beginning my green smoothie journey a couple of months ago, I have found that being prepared is the key. Over the weekend, taking the time to put together my 50% veggie and 50% fruit combinations in ziplock baggies is a must. Since I usually have a smoothie for breakfast and one for lunch, I try to assemble and freeze enough bags to get me through the week. It’s also a great way to preserve the fresh produce. Being prepared saves me time in the morning and it also saves me from falling off the wagon because I have that quick healthy meal readily available.
